The Dispensing Nurse is responsible for the daily monitoring of patients’ needs and care of all patients in our integrated care clinic. We provide addiction treatment, primary care, and mental health services all under one roof.
We are currently looking for a full time LPN to join our team and work with the Charge Nurse, Medical Director, and Clinical Program Administrator to assure appropriate medical care of patients.This individual is also responsible for the completeness of all medical aspects of the medical record – including any paper documentation and all entries into the electronic health record (EHR).
The Dispensing Nurse is responsible for dispensing any medications the clinic may utilize in the treatment of patients; this includes methadone, suboxone, and buprenorphine.
- Responsible for medical services to be in compliance with Federal, State, CARF, and COMAR regulations/standards in regard to:
- Medication Inventory
- Process medical orders
- Physical examination and medical evaluations performed on all clients as required
- Submits and files clinical notes with 48 hours of event
- Collects specimens and process appropriately
