Keonna Armstrong earned her bachelor’s degree from Temple University and has over 25 years of experience within the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) industry. She is an ambitious leader who builds and retains high performance teams by hiring, developing, and motivating skilled professionals with demonstrated ability to deliver mission-critical results. Keonna is truly a visionary operation executive with solid experience managing all levels of the revenue cycle. She is also experienced in all areas of healthcare revenue cycle operations; including coding, admissions, authorizations, accounts receivable, cash applications, federal, commercial/manage care contracting and self-pay collections.

Keonna’s exemplary work in the RCM industry for over 25 years proved her directing and leadership capabilities in the revenue cycle department, resulting in over 300 employees generating over $1 Billion in revenue. She has successfully implemented process improvement workflows resulting in streamlined procedures. Implementation of Quality Assurance and training programs to ensure a 95 % quality rate for all employees. Reduced days in AR from 72 to 32 resulting in millions of dollars in additional cash flow. And successfully settled multi-claim denials reducing denial rate from 21% to 5% in addition to reduction of accounts aged greater than 365 from 22% to 4%.

Keonna enjoys all forms of dance. She has danced since the age of 3 and continued to actively pursue dance throughout her life. This was her minor in college, so the arts are truly her passion and drive her creativity and style.
